Best Awards

PLEASE NOTE:

Using data from our recent Member Survey, NEAIR Leadership is re-evaluating the relevance of scholarly papers to the profession of IR and therefore the need of a Best Paper, Best First Paper, and Best IR/Practitioner Report Awards. We expect to introduce a series of changes that will better support the scholarly work of NEAIR members and encourage members to submit their writing and reports for consideration for NEAIR awards.  However, the Conference Team will continue to award a Best Poster Award.

The Best Poster Award was first created in 2006 to encourage professional and artistic visual presentation of poster sessions.  The winner receives a monetary award.

Currently under evaluation - NEAIR offered three Best Awards for papers or reports presented at the NEAIR annual conference:  Best Paper, Best First Paper, and Best IR/Practitioner Report.   Please click on each award to get information about past award recipients and their presentations.
