NEAIR Call for Proposals

NEAIR is now accepting proposals for the 45th Annual Conference, November 3-6, 2018 at the historic Omni William Penn Hotel, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Please join us by participating in this year’s program.  The 2018 Conference Program Team wants to hear about your new and innovative work in IR, Assessment, and Planning, and how you or your office help to foster a culture of data-informed decision making at your institution.

Please visit the links below for all of the information you need to prepare your proposal and use the web submission system to submit your proposal before the May 18, 2018 deadline.

Proposal Submissions:  On the 2018 Pittsburgh Conference one-stop conference information page, you will find the Call for Proposals Overview, which we encourage you to read prior to using the online submission process, and you will find the link to the online submission process.

Pre-Conference Workshop Proposals: We welcome a diversity of workshop topic submissions, particularly those that address the needs of under-resourced offices that must do more using existing (or free) technology. On the 2018 Pittsburgh Conference one-stop conference information page, you will find the Call for Proposals Overview, which we encourage you to read prior to using the online submission process, and you will find the link to the online submission process.

Review Process: NEAIR continues to use a blind peer-review process on the first review of all proposals, followed by a committee review for final selections.

Scholarly Paper and Best Awards: NEAIR is currently reevaluating the processes associated with the Best Paper, Best First Paper, and Best IR/Practitioner Report Awards. In the coming months, we expect to introduce a series of changes that will better support the scholarly work of NEAIR members and encourage members to submit their writing and reports for consideration for NEAIR awards.

Stay Tuned about Pittsburgh:  If you haven't been to Pittsburgh in a while, you will be amazed at its beauty and culture.  Rated the #1 Foodie City by Zagat, Pittsburgh's restaurants don't disappoint.  Our Local Arrangements Team maps out the best of the restaurants for that NEAIR networking we all love.  Take a video look at Pittsburgh!

The NEAIR Annual Conference offers a wonderful opportunity for sharing your work and research interests with colleagues. Please consider submitting a proposal to be part of the Conference Program.
