Call for Proposal Reviewers
The Annual NEAIR Conference succeeds because of the quality and variety of its many presentations. Each year, the work of our proposal reviewers helps to continue that tradition. To keep the review system fair and the workload as light as possible, the Program Committee uses an automated proposal-review tool to process the proposals submitted. For the review process to work, we need volunteers!
To serve as a reviewer for this year's conference:
- login to NEAIR [Forgot your username and password? Click on Member Login, click on "forgot password" and enter your email]
- once logged in to the Members Area, click on the Proposal Review Icon
- indicate your top three topics for which you would like to review
- receive a confirmation email with links to your assigned proposals or look for links to these proposals in the Members Area
You can review proposals in any of the topic areas and formats noted in the Call for Proposals – we will do our best to honor reviewer preferences. The earlier you sign up, the better your chances of being assigned your preferred topics and formats.
Each proposal will be read by at least three reviewers. Reviewers evaluate each proposal in response to a succinct rubric in a blind review process. In the spirit of collegiality and professionalism for which NEAIR is well known, reviewers are encouraged to make comments for the conference program committee and the proposal authors.
Each reviewer will read and evaluate between two and five proposals between May 26th and June 12th, 2022. If you have any questions or comments, please contact the Proposal Review Coordinator, Shawn LaRoche, at slaroche5@mwcc.mass.edu.
Thank you for your support in continuing to make our conferences the best for our membership!
Sincerely,
Shawn LaRoche
2019-22 Peer Review Coordinator
