2025 Call for Proposals

Welcome to the Call for Proposals for NEAIR's 52nd Conference
North Bethesda, Maryland: November 8-11, 2025

Be part of the conversation shaping the future of institutional research and effectiveness at the 2025 NEAIR Conference! Join us as we connect, collaborate, and explore innovative approaches with this year’s theme: Enhancing IR/IE through AI and Automation.

We are excited to have you share your expertise, learn new things, meet old friends, make some new ones and further cultivate a culture of inspiration, camaraderie, and support!

As higher education institutions and their leaders navigate an increasingly complex landscape, we can use this opportunity to come together and sustain, support, and share our collective expertise with one another. IR/IE practitioners will continue to be called on to support institutional success through data and analytics, foster communication and collaboration, strengthen data governance and literacy, and explore the evolving role of AI and emerging technologies.

Thank you for your interest in submitting a proposal, and we know you will have much to share regarding our theme of AI and Automation, as well as other topics relevant to IR, IE and Assessment professionals:

• Assessment, Accountability, Accreditation and IE
• Data, Analytics, and Decision-Making
• Data Governance and Data Literacy
• Culture, Climate, & Belonging: Empowering Student Success
• Skills Competencies, Career Trajectories, Leadership, & Managing Change
• Other Topics

We will be accepting speaker, panel and discussion sessions as well as poster presentations.

We are also seeking pre-conference workshop proposals for engaging half-day, full-day, or two-day sessions that offer members a deeper dive into specific topics!

The Call for Proposals is now open and will close on June 10. All proposals for the conference and pre-conference workshops are peer reviewed, and selection is determined by the Program Chair and Associate Program Chair. Information about the topics, session types and submission instructions can be found by clicking on the links below.
