NEAIR Call for Proposals

The NEAIR Conference Team is delighted to announce that the Call for Proposals for the NEAIR 47th Annual Conference in Baltimore, Maryland is now open. We invite you to submit a proposal to present and share your research interests and experience in IR&IE. We are especially interested in how these interests relate to the lessons learned and future insights as we explore our "2020 Vision" and prepare for what lies ahead of us.

The call includes speaker sessions, panel and group discussions, workshops, and posters. We encourage you to collaborate with colleagues in your office, in other departments you work with, and/or at other institutions.

Click to learn about this year’s presentation topic areas, the details of the process, what we’re looking for, how to upload your proposal, and more. We encourage you to read the Proposal Submission Overview and Presenter Agreement noted on the Call for Proposals web page prior to submitting your proposal.

Workshop Proposals: In a separate process from the Call for Proposals, we are accepting professional development workshop proposals in one submission, for both the Summer Workshops and Pre/Post-Conference Workshops. Submitters will have their choice of presenting at one or both events.

We welcome submissions on ALL important topics outlined in the Call and would especially like to solicit proposals for the two newly added topics on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and Data, Analytics, and Decision-Making.

The deadline to submit proposals is extended to May 22nd, 2020.

Review Process: NEAIR continues to use a double-blind review. Both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. Authors need to ensure that their proposals are prepared in a way that does not give away their identity.

Please join us by participating in this year’s conference by becoming an official part of the program. We look forward to hearing from you!
