NEAIR Membership & Our Annual Conference

Dear Colleagues and Friends:

The financial impact of COVID-19 is being felt everywhere, and NEAIR is no exception.  We have cancelled all our in-person events and transitioned them to a virtual format.  This is unprecedented for NEAIR.

NEAIR has been a well-managed organization with reserves for unforeseen events such as what we are experiencing now.  To that end, NEAIR is moving forward with a lower-funded revenue model and strategically using NEAIR assets based on the following principles:
  • The high-quality professional development content will continue and be expanded.
  • The price point for professional development is more affordable for offices that have lower budgets and for individuals who may have to pay out-of-pocket.
Guided by these principles, we have reduced the price of the conference this year to about one-third of the regular price at only $130.  We have a very strong program this year that includes top notch speakers and panelists such as:
  • Scott Jaschik, Editor at Inside Higher Ed
  • Judith Eaton, President of CHEA
  • Dan Greenstein, Chancellor of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education
  • Kenya Ayers-Palmore, President of Tarrant County College and motivational speaker
along with excellent concurrent sessions, time to network and visits with our sponsors, and the NEAIRiness we’ve all come to know and appreciate.

There are many members who renew their memberships to ensure this organization continues to be viable in the future; others contribute by serving on one of NEAIR’s committees (like us), or by creating content and training materials.  We thank you—your support ensures that NEAIR will continue to provide its members with the support they need now and in the future.

To help make this year’s professional development content possible, and to help NEAIR meet the COVID-19 challenge, we ask you to consider supporting NEAIR and its members by renewing your membership in 2020-21.  We believe the price of membership is very reasonable at $85 per year considering the benefits that our members receive, especially with the addition of the free professional development (Your IR Guiding Light Series) that we will be continuing throughout 2020-21, and the low price of our workshops at only $29.  September 1 is our renewal date and starting August 1, you will be able to renew your membership online.

We are here for you. With our sincere thanks,
